I had a meeting this morning and afterward went for coffee.
We went to BB's, and if you've had their muffins, you'll know how unreal they are. My fav being the Victora cream sponge.
Now here's the disclaimer- I am in no way saying not to have the muffin or the biscuit or the chocolate bar because I have chocolate every night with a cup of tea. But I was a little excited after the meeting & just happy it was done and I said I might get a muffin but my other half said " you never get a muffin' ( not regularly) and i agreed, I dont, not regularly anyway.
Why? Not because it "bad" or im restricting, & next week, I might decide to get the muffin, but because a lot of times when people do it,
it's just habit.
It's just mindless eating
It could be emotional ( today, i was stressed but also happy, so that definitely would have been emotional)
It's the "have a cup of tea, oh sure, I'll have to have a few biscuits."
It's your normal
It's what you've grown up with.
But is it all the above that is affecting your weight & and your weight loss goal?
It's these "little" bites that add up over the day and over the week, and you're not even aware you're doing it.
Is it time to break the habit and potentially help with your weight issues not only by reducing calories but by improving your self-awareness around food?
If this rang a bell with you, send me a DM to get some help.
