Eircom Staff Sports & Social Club Limerick Ltd The Sports & Social Club is a registered limited company and is governed by a Constitution which is available on request to any Member of the club.

Members of the Committee are in effect Directors of the Company i.e. the Sports & Social Club. The Committee is made up of up to 13 Members. There are 4 Officers Chairperson, Secretary and 2 Joint Treasurers – a Committee Member must spend at least one year on the Committee to be eligible to become an Officer. Funding

The Club is funded by direct contributions from Members – this is deducted at

source for Members within eircom and Vodafone and is currently €2 per week - this can be increased or decreased only by an amendment at the AGM. Associate Members must pay €104 per annum – note this can be done by Direct Debit. Associate Members over 60 years of age are charged the reduced rate of €50 per annum. Committee Meetings

Committee Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month although this can vary depending on the time of year i.e. Christmas or Summer holidays. At the initial meeting of the new Committee events or proposed events are discussed and agreed upon. Sub Committees are generally formed to manage each event.
