One week to go !!

We don’t have to dream about our Astro Turf anymore. All we have to do is look outside and we can see it. What a journey it has been. We have had lots of ups and downs alone the way but when the children in Castleconnell N.S finally set foot on our amazing pitch next Monday it will all have been worth it. We can’t wait to see their faces as they run onto it for the first time. We still have a way to go with our fundraising. We are beyond excited to be able to share with you today that work on our long awaited AstroTurf pitch has finally begun after long 5 years of fundraising. The plan is for construction to be finished in time for the reopening of our school after this long, unexpected closure so that our children can finally have the facility they so richly deserve. Unfortunately due to Covid 19 we will not be able to hold our mid summer run or summer camp fundraisers this summer which leaves us short of much needed funds to finish our project.

Thanks to Toni Breen for updating our fundraising board. There has been a lot of hard work to get this point and thanks to everyone for their continued support. Hopefully it won’t be long until we can start work on our Astro turf.

Castleconnell National School Nativity Carol Service, Wednesday 11th of December at 11:00am and 7:00pm in Castleconnell Parish Church.

Tickets €10 for adults & €5 for U18’s. All proceeds going to Castleconnell N.S Astro turf fund.

Kids have been practicing so much, going to be a great event.

We are delighted to announce that St. Vincent De Paul Castleconnell are having a half price sale from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th of August with all proceeds going towards our Astro Turf pitch. For every €20 spent you will be entered into a draw for a €50 voucher for Fennessy’s uniform shop, a children’s and an adults hamper. Please support if you can.
