anyone out, there is no preferential treatment, whether you are an enthusiastic beginner or an elite level cyclist we will provide the best service your bike has ever experienced. We provide the highest quality service by the highest trained CyTech mechanic, with a B.Sc in Sports Science, Cycling Ireland Coach and British Cycling Coach, whether you’re getting your bike serviced or getting yourself fitted to your bike you know you are in the best hands. We pride ourselves in our quality service, and any bike brought in to the shop before 12 will be repaired, serviced and ready for collection the same day - unless we need to order parts.

Sometimes the difference between a job being done and a job being done properly comes down to the details.

This Liv road bike received a new chainset and bottom bracket, with the shell reamed and faced using specialist Park Tool equipment to ensure everything runs perfectly.

It’s the sort of work most riders never see, but it’s what helps keep bikes smooth, quiet and reliable for years to come.

And naturally, the workshop supervisors kept a close eye on proceedings… 🐶

Long before VeloWorx, there was me riding on the back of my dad’s bike.

On one memorable ride, he somehow managed to inhale a bee while cycling. Trying not to panic, choke, or launch both of us into the hedge, he somehow brought us safely to a stop without dropping me!

Looking back, those little adventures were where my love of bikes really began.

Funny how the moments that seem ordinary at the time become the memories you treasure most.

Most people would look at a damaged thread and assume the frame was ruined.

It wasn’t.

A little patience, the correct tap, and the right experience restored the mounting point and got this bike ready for its upcoming touring adventure.

It’s often the small details that make the difference between a bike that’s unusable and one that’s ready for thousands more kilometres.

That’s the kind of problem solving I enjoy most.

Before the racing.

Before the coaching.

There was just a bike.

I still remember the feeling of heading out with no plan and no destination. Just riding to see what was over the next hill, down the next lane, or around the next corner.

Looking back, bicycles gave me something long before they became my career.

They gave me freedom.

Freedom to explore.

Freedom to disappear for a few hours.

Freedom to dream a little bigger than the world immediately around me.

More than 40 years later, that feeling is still there.

The bikes may have changed.
