๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช International honours for four of our players this weekend! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

A huge congratulations to Bobby, Gwen, Esme and RoseDeirdre, who proudly represented Ireland at the Association Cup in UL this weekend.

Fresh from helping our U14 boys complete a remarkable treble-winning season, Bobby captained Ireland to Association Cup success. Bobby has enjoyed an outstanding year, adding this achievement to his exploits with Aisling Annacotty and his recent participation with the Limerick Kennedy Cup squad.

On the girlsโ€™ side, Gwen was part of the Ireland team that lifted the Association Cup trophy. Gwen has had a fantastic season, winning both U14 and U15 League and Cup doubles with the club, while also representing Limerick in the Gaynor Cup.

Esme and Rose Deirdre represented a separate Ireland squad that finished in an excellent 3rd place. Esme also enjoyed a tremendous season, winning U14 and U15 League and Cup doubles and representing Limerick in the Gaynor Cup. Rose Deirdre added a U14 League and Cup double to her achievements this year and likewise represented Limerick in the Gaynor Cup.

To have four players representing Ireland on the same weekend is a tremendous achievement for the players, their families, coaches and teammates. Their success reflects the hard work, commitment and dedication they have shown throughout the season.

Everyone at Aisling Annacotty is incredibly proud of all four players. Congratulations on a fantastic achievement and a memorable weekend in green. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ’šโšฝ๏ธ

2nd Annual Darren Egan Memorial Tournament โ˜€๏ธโšฝ

What a fantastic day at our 2nd Annual Darren Egan Memorial Tournament.

With the sun shining down on everyone, it was a fitting occasion to remember and celebrate Darren, a former coach who gave so much of his time, energy and passion to our club. His impact continues to be felt throughout Aisling Annacotty, and it was wonderful to see so many young players enjoying the game he loved.

We were delighted to welcome boys and girls from Bunratty, Regional United, ODFD Academy, Tempo Academy, Lisnagry, Corbally, Herbertstown, Holycross, Knockainey and our own Aisling Annacotty teams. The standard of football on display was excellent throughout the day, with every player playing the game in the right spirit.

Congratulations to all of our winners. In the boysโ€™ section, Aisling Annacotty claimed the Shield, while Corbally were crowned Darren Egan Cup champions. In the girlsโ€™ section, Knockainey lifted the Darren Egan Cup, with Regional United winning the Shield.

A special thank you to Darrenโ€™s wife, Georgia, and the Egan family for joining us on the day and presenting the trophies. Their presence made the occasion even more meaningful and reminded us all of the lasting impact Darren had on so many people within our club and community.

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, volunteers and families who helped make the day such a success. Days like these showcase everything that is great about grassroots football and the sense of community it creates.

Most importantly, the tournament provided an opportunity for us all to come together to remember Darren and celebrate the legacy he left behind. We are proud to continue honouring him through this special event and look forward to doing so for many years to come.

๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ† TREBLE WINNERS! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

History was made last night as our U14s completed an incredible treble with a 3-2 victory over Fairview Rangers U14 in the Cup Final.

The squad had to overcome the absence of captain Bobby, who was proudly representing Ireland, as well as vice-captain Finn, who was away, but the boys showed the character and quality that has defined their season.

A brilliant performance saw us race into a 3-0 lead, only for Fairview to score twice in the final 10 minutes and set up a tense finish. The lads held firm to get their hands on the trophy and seal a remarkable season.

This special group has now achieved something truly historic by winning the National Cup, League and Cup, completing a memorable treble that will forever be part of our clubโ€™s history.

What makes this achievement even more special is that it was a true squad effort. Every single player played their part throughout the season. Whether starting games, coming off the bench, training hard week after week, or stepping up when the team needed them most, every member of the squad contributed to this historic success.

Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of this team is that every player has come through our academy, with the boys beginning their journey with the club at just 6 or 7 years of age. Years of hard work, development, friendship and dedication have led to moments like this, making this achievement all the more rewarding for everyone involved.

Last nightโ€™s final also marked the end of an era for Tom and Ben before they make the move to Shamrock Rovers in July. We thank them for everything they have contributed to this team and wish them every success as they continue their football development at the biggest club in the country. Their progress is a fantastic reflection of the pathway available to young players at our club.

Finally, congratulations to all the players, coaches, volunteers and families who have supported these boys throughout their journey.

โšฝ Coach Education Evening at Aisling Annacotty โšฝ

A big thank you to Iain Brunskill from The Coachesโ€™ Voice and Dunfermline Athletic for delivering an excellent football workshop in Annacotty this week.

26 of our coaches attended the session, picking up plenty of ideas and insights that will benefit our players across the club.

A special word of thanks to our U12A team, who were the group being coached throughout the 90-minute session. The players were a credit to themselves and the club.

Itโ€™s great to see so many coaches giving up their time to continue learning and developing, helping us provide the best possible experience for all our players.

Weโ€™d also like to wish Iain and everyone at Dunfermline Athletic the very best of luck as they begin pre-season on Thursday. Thanks again for taking the time to visit us and share your expertise.
