DYLAN CASEY JOINS AISLING ANNACOTTY

You might have seen him in our first few games and he has been superb.

Aisling Annacotty are delighted to officially announce the signing of Dylan Casey from Avenue United.

Dylan arrives with an impressive football background, having previously been part of the academy setup at Leicester City and Millwall, giving him valuable experience within professional football environments.

A versatile and experienced player, Dylan brings quality, composure and a strong understanding of the game to the Aisling Annacotty squad. His background at professional clubs, combined with his experience in the local game with Avenue United, makes him an exciting addition as we continue to build a competitive squad for the season ahead.

Dylan’s technical ability, football intelligence and experience will add another dimension to the team, while his professional background will also be valuable around the younger players coming through the club.

Manager Declan Farmer said:

The men's first team took on Kilmallock United on Saturday evening at 7pm and if goals are what you like you would have enjoyed it.
New signing Niko Koslowski got a hat trick in the first 25 mins to set the tone in a mostly one sided affair. Although Joe Hay for Kilmallock broke up Nikos hat-trick with a superb volley on 17 minutes.
Adam Foley got in on the act and added his own first half hat-trick and Conor Coughlan was taken down for a penalty he converted. 7-1 at half time.

The second half was similar but Kilmallock were resolute to prevent any further decay but the cracks came in the end. Conor Coughlan was taken down again in the 62nd minute and converted again.
A smart cross by Francesco Martini was turned into his own net by a Kilmallock defender a minute later. Oscar Fitzgerald came off the bench again to score his second of the season and Adam Foley rounded off the scoring with his 4th in the 66th minute.

What a match these young girls played today. The U16b team had a strong performance and were so unlucky to have not scored.
Captain Eabha lead her team with the help of our new U15 girls who just joined the club.
Olivia saved some striking shots that were aimed on goal and Ebony was unlucky to not have scored her header from Lucy's strong, direct corner kick.
These girls should be proud of their performance today 👏

14A had a successful win against Shelbourne today.
The girls are playing some outstanding soccer and are working together as a team.

Congratulations to the U14B girls for their impressive victory against Shelbourne and captained by Eva.
A fantastic performance from the entire team, including the U13A girls. The teamwork and communication throughout the match were outstanding.
In the second half, they maintained their momentum, show their determination to secure the win. Special shout-out to Molly, our goalkeeper, for her fantastic saves and kick-outs, as well as the strong defence and midfield support.
Great to get such a super win this morning for this new team!

12A's had a good first home game of the season today against a competitive Shelbourne team.
2-1 up at the half, the girls kept composed and took their chances in 2nd half for a good win, highlights including a thundering free kick from captain Laurie and well taken finish from Mollie for her 2nd.
Big shout out to Ella for being a great team player and playing in goals on her way back from injury.
Excellent debut and goal for Isabelle and very well done to all the other girls playing their first match of the season.

Our Junior Ds made it 3 wins in their last 3 games and 10 points from a possible 12 as they ran out big 8-2 winners at home to Mungret b on a wet Tuesday on our main grass field. Mungret took the lead through an og after just 5 minutes but the lads responded strongly and went in at half time 4-1 up through captain Liam Danaher and a first half hat trick from new man Gerry Fitzpatrick. The Scoreline repeated in the second half. Rian Fitzpatrick, Tommy Canty, Ben McNamara and an 11th goal in 4 games from Gerry sealed a big win
