Don't compare your day 1 to someone else's day 100!
That's a lesson I've learnt the hard way..
My photo on the left isn't even me at my heaviest, at my peak I was 129kg and taking progress photos was the last thing on my mind.
Since then I've lost 30kg, completely changed my life and my relationship with training and nutrition, and I'm still working towards new goals today
But it didn't happen over night.
And, it's definitely not a straight line.
There are good months, bad konths, weight lost, regained, missed sessions, holidays, meals out and plenty of times where life just got in the way..
The biggest lesson I've learned?
You don't need to be perfect, you need to keep going!
It's very easy to see somebody's day 90 and compare your progress, but not everyone's journey is the same
So stop worrying about where somebody else is and focus on you!
Get the first session done.
Get your nutrition on point.
Walk a bit more.
Do it again tomorrow
And again the following day.
Momentum builds momentum!!
Those small things done consistently will get you where you want to be..
Your day 1 doesn't need to look impressive to anyone, you just need to start!
