ARRANMORE ROWING
We're delighted to announce that rowing sessions will be starting again over the coming days with the new boats, with regular rowing times being organised around high tide.

Whether you're an experienced rower, a complete beginner, part of a crew, or just fancy giving it a try, we'd love to see you get involved. We can help put crews together, so don't worry if you're coming on your own.

The sessions are all about getting active, having fun, building fitness, and keeping our great rowing tradition alive on Arranmore.

A special welcome to the Aphort team, who we're expecting big things from this season!🏆 As for the Leab teams... don't worry, we'll try not to be too hard on you! 😄

We’re thrilled that CFFAM / Cumann na mBád has received a BIM FLAG grant allocation to purchase two brand new Celtic Yawl (ICRF One-Design) boats! 🚤⚓https://www.coastalrowing.ie/boat-classes-celtic-yawl-icrf-one-design/

This funding will help us bring back the proud tradition of coastal rowing here on Arranmore, a proud tradition once celebrated with the Donegal Skiffs. Now, with these new boats, which are being newly built and we hope to take delivery of in the new year, we can look forward to regenerating the sport and hopefully sparking friendly competition in this beautiful standard design once again.

A huge thank you to BIM FLAG for their support in making this happen, your investment helps keep our island’s maritime heritage alive and thriving.
