Wonderful representation by all our players today. First class performances and plenty of laughs. Cracking goals and saves. Some excellent ball retention and build up play. Lots of St Patrick's Athletic FC debutants. I hope a great experience for all. Particular thanks to our squad managers Des Walsh & Terry Butler. Great to see the club supply 5 out of the 6 officials. Great night’s football as Happy Feet has another historic moment with four ladies playing for the first time. Congratulations to Caroline with a double scoring debut. Sister Carmel also on the scoresheet before also becoming our first female keeper. Louise kept the ladies scoring going as the game ebbed and flowed. Nothing like a 7 goal thriller. Young Paddy marked his recent 75th birthday with a double. All in all a great nights walking football well refereed by Eamonn. 😎⚽️🚶🏾👍

Wonderful event today in second round of the Irish Walking Football League over 60s Southern Group. Well contested games with some excellent play in the first class Park United facilities. Plentiful post match hospitality provided and the weather was fantastic albeit challenging in 25degrees of sunshine. Congratulations to Gary and all the host crew for a well run event. Many Thanks to the Legend Alan Hawkins who was a wonderful host for today’s second round of the Eastern group of the over 60s IWFL. Another very closely contested league round. Overall very good performance by our crew with more than half our 60s squad unavailable for various reasons. Thanks to our referees and the good Lord for the pleasant weather. Special word for our over 65 players who turned out today. Congratulations to Kevin Sweeney on his debut. Two draws and only one loss. 👍⚽🚶😎 See today’s results.

Great to see 12 of our crew line out for St Patricks Athletic in today’s second round of the over 65 group in the Irish Walking Football League. Two more wins and some great play. Eddie Nolan again blazing a trail with a league debut for our senior man at 80 years young.
