Well done to the lads and a big thank-you to everyone who donated 👍🏻

Well done to the committee members of Glencar Community Park Kevin Kerrigan, Seamus Mc Donald, Sean Mc Donald and Paddy Clancy who presented a cheque to North West Hospice today for €2,500. The committee climbed Croagh Patrick "The Reek" last October to raise funds for the ongoing running costs of the Community Park and for North West Hospice. Thank you to everyone who supported their fundraiser!

Hello everyone, my name is Kevin Kerrigan of Glencar Community Park, Co. Leitrim. Our committee: Seamus mc Donald, Sean mc Donald, Paddy Clancy and I, are going to climb Croagh Patrick on the weekend of 16/17 October to raise funds for the ongoing running costs of our Community Park and for North West Hospice.
The Community Park is a fantastic asset for everyone in our locality: a space to exercise, go for a stroll, participate in recreational activities or have casual kick around or puck around.
It also is made available to other neighbouring clubs (for a small fee) for trainings and matches when their own parks are not available to them.
However, funds are needed to cover insurance, maintenance, equipment purchase, and all running costs associated with the facility,

Northwest Hospice is a very worthy organisation and a vital service for our area, They require continuous financial support in order to carry out their work in this region
We are appealing to everyone who is reading this to please donate to our fundraiser.

Well done to all who took part in yesterday's 10k and 5k run's/ walk. We will have times posted later as I've finally figured out how the timing app works and all times have been recovered. After 6 pm I'll post all times, sorry for the hassle folks and thank you all for supporting our event.

There will be a 5km/10km walk/fun run taking place on the 20th of August at 6 o clock. It's 10 euro per person or 20 euro for families. Registration for the run will start at 5 o clock. There will also be music and refreshments on the day. Everyone is welcome to attend!
