A significant weekend coming as the Cork Senior Hurlers battle with the Banner for a Munster Final. However our attention is once again being focused on Saturday in Tipperary..

In Nenagh, two superb ladies from our club will participate in an All-Ireland Semi-final. Following a narrow win over Limerick, they will now play Galway for a place in the all-ireland final.

This match is a repeat of a compelling group game in which Cork won.

Everyone across the whole Lisgoold club extends its best wishes to Sarah and Aoife. Go for it ladies!!

And just like that History has been made for the very first time Lisgoold Leamlara Camogie club has an under 12 group of girls playing competitive camogie.
The club was established in 2022 and continues to grow from strength to strength every year since.
We believed every girl deserves the chance to play camogie with her own club, alongside her friends — and that very vision has become a reality.

It might have seemed like a hard sell at the beginning, asking people to believe in something NEW. Some even said, “we’re not a camogie club.” But the response was very simple — why not? We can be whatever we want to be. And today proves exactly that.

We are so proud to see our very first U12 competitive team representing the club. This is a huge milestone, not just for the players, but for everyone who backed the idea from day one.
From the very first training sessions luring them in with haribo jellies to now, the commitment, enthusiasm, and spirit shown by these girls has been incredible. They’ve supported each other, worked hard, and worn their club colours with pride.

A huge heartfelt thank you to the coaches, volunteers, and parents who have given their time and energy to make this day possible.

This is only the beginning of the journey. The friendships formed, the skills learned, and the memories made will last far beyond the pitch.

The future is bright for Lisgoold/Leamlara Camogie Club 💙💛

It was off to Aghada on Thursday night for our u12 girls. Well done girls ye showed great effort and determination.

A special mention to our u12 camogie team. Well done to the girls in their last few challenge games, every girl contributed to really strong performances and their camogie is improving week on week. The teamwork and enjoyment is plain to see which should put us in good stead going into upcoming county league. Lisgoold's first time competing in the county league with an u12 group. Also a special mention to the very generous donation of these fabulous new camogie jerseys for the girls. Look good, feel good, play good 😉

First league match in Mitchelstown *next Friday*.
