It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we have to say goodbye to our good friend Jimmy Duffy. He was a true gentleman and a great character. Our deepest condolences go out to all of Jimmy’s family and friends. He will be truly missed by all here at Gilna’s. We hope you’re enjoying a nice Jameson triple triple and completing the crossword (without the tippex)

A man..A smile… A shrug…A grin… An absolute Gentleman

The death has occurred of Jimmy Duffy, Smithstown, Julianstown, Co. Meath. 31st May 2026, Suddenly at his home aged 64 years. Predeceased by his mam Philomena, dad Patrick, siblings Pat, John and Geraldine. Jimmy will be sadly missed by his loving sisters Kathleen, Angela and Bernadette, brothers-in-law Pat and David, sister-in-law Regina, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Jimmy Rest in Peace

Reposing in Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda (A92 XN75) on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm.
Funeral Mass in St Mary’s RC Church, Julianstown on Friday at 11am, which can be viewed live on https://www.youtube.com/
Burial will take place afterwards in Moorechurch Cemetery.
