I should start reporting on the angling activities around Lanesborough on Thursday this week. As usual, I will offer my unbiased opinion on the state of the river, generally take the p**s, and of course ridicule those who will benefit from my wit. With a bit of luck, there will be some fish as well. The conditions are absolutely perfect, so I'm quietly confident.

Only 25 hours and 30 minutes until the petition closes and we need 93 signatures, that is roughly 1 every 16 minutes. It might seem easy, but without all your help, we may struggle. One last push should do it. Go on, go on, go on, go on!

Press release from March, - This proves the plan to lower levels was conceived long before the drought. In September this year the level was dropped by a further 20cm and this, combined with the dry summer is the reason for the low water at Lanesborough.
Please share this so the ill informed amongst us can learn.

Good morning all, It is with regret I have to announce there will be no further episodes of "Get ya Tackle Out" in the immediate future. Until sponsorship, or funding is gained to allow me to be resident in Ireland, it is not financially viable to keep it going as a "watered down" production.
I believe I have the right formula for an interesting program and will not give up on achieving this ambitious project. There are numerous issues and features still to be raised, and I'm hoping to re-launch next spring.
Best fishes, - Paul.
