Ocean to City 2026, what a great day!
It was tough going, our Thursday training sessions paid off. A wee relay pit stop in Monkstown to swap 2 crew and have a quick snack helped fuel the second stretch.
So much prep goes into these events, thanks to the crew and our fab shore support team for help with lifts, food, towing and logistics.
Well done Cork Harbour Festival & Ocean to City , such a well organised event.
See you for OTC 2027!

What a brilliant row we had last night in preparation for the Ocean to City race at the end of the month. We couldn't stop for long at the Bulman buoy, twas a tad bumpy, so the treat break waited for smoother water. Great views of Charles Fort, James Fort and the sailing boats. Spotted a seal but no basking sharks unfortunately.
Looking forward to the event at Cork Harbour Festival & Ocean to City

Another lovely Tuesday row, on calmer water this week, making it a nicer introduction for some more prospective rowers

After 2 weeks of cancelled rows due to weather, we were delighted to get back on the water in that beautiful sunshine!
We had some shorter rows with prospective members, hope they all enjoyed it as much as we did.
Looking forward more sunny evenings in Kinsale and hopefully gaining a few new members πŸ˜„β˜€οΈ

Why not give coastal rowing a try this year.

Not only is it a low-impact exercise and full body workout, you get plenty fresh air surrounded by the beauty of the Kinsale coastline. The rhythmic motion is also a great way to relieve any stress from the day. Added bonus - joining a friendly group and spotting the odd seal or dolphin.

Membership is open for the club (beginners welcome). DM to join

Rowing will kick off in April
