We are thrilled to announce an exciting new addition to the facilities at Kinlough Pier! 🛶

​Thanks to the generous support of the HSE National Lottery Grant Scheme 2026, we have today officially received our brand-new floating launch pad.

​This secure, level, and EZ-access pontoon will make getting out on Lough Melvin safer and easier than ever before. Whether you are a seasoned kayaker, a passionate canoeist, or just starting out, this accessible launch pad opens up the water for everyone in our community to enjoy.

​A massive thank you to the HSE National Lottery Grant Scheme for helping us make this upgrade a reality!

In light of Leitrim CC public notice, we are ceasing drop in sessions for adults and kids for the next 10 days.

In the meantime, we will use alternative locations.
Members and Summer Camp participants will be forwarded details of where sessions will take place.

An amazing day for our club. We managed to see over 100 people down at the lakeside to enjoy the activities and explore our new boathouse.

We even managed to find time at the end of the day to celebrate the NorthWest Canoe Club's 5th Birthday. A major milestone for this young club.

Our Paddlesports Summer Camps are open for bookings. Week long activities on the water at our boathouse in Kinlough. For children aged 7 and up.

A great opportunity for a group of friends to spend a week learning to kayak and Canoe on Lough Melvin.
