KILTALE HURLING AND CAMOIGE CLUB are pleased to make available on the 25th June cardiac screening through the Dillon Quirke Foundation for 12–18 year olds.
The Foundation was set up following a tragic juvenile fatality, and its aim is to prevent sudden cardiac deaths in young people. On average, around 100 young people die each year in Ireland from undiagnosed heart conditions (SADS), many of which can be identified through screening. �

This is a really worthwhile programme — screenings are free, but parents will be asked for a small donation. Those with Laya private health insurance are fully covered.
