Wexford Sub Aqua Club

Wexford Sub Aqua Club A Diving Ireland affiliated Scuba Diving & Snorkelling Club in Southeast Ireland. We are not a dive centre.

Formed in 1971, Wexford Sub Aqua Club has been exploring the underwater world off the southeast coast for over forty years. Below the surface is a rich and varied landscape, teeming with abundant marine life. We are based at our clubhouse in Kilmore Quay, a fishing village surrounded by water which down through the years has earned itself the title of “graveyard of a thousand ships”, thus provid

ing a choice of wreck diving in the area. There is plenty to suit all divers from the novice to the advanced diver. The Saltee Islands provide a magnificent backdrop to some of our dive sites with an array of seabirds such as gannets, puffins and even the odd razorbill who plunge underwater to say hello while we are diving. More information about our dive sites can be found on our website www.divewexford.org. For more information about the Club or scuba diving in the area, just drop us an e-mail to [email protected] or ring 086 871 8562

Well done Keith Cleary on passing his club diver exam at the weekend. Kilkenny examiner Ken Maye was on hand to do the test. Keith was the first person in the club to do the Club Diver by the new two part method, so a little bit of history there.
