🏀 U14 Girls Invitational Tournament – Hosted by Killarney Cougars🏀

Our third tournament in a week took place on Saturday, March 28th, and what a fantastic day it was 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success — from our coaches Rory & Linda who had the girls fully prepared and motivated, to our referees Abbie, Kelly & John, table officials Caroline, Grace, Eileen, Callum, Maura & Brendan, staff Candice & Patrick, and caretaker Tim O’Callaghan. Your support is hugely appreciated.

With 18 games played from 9:30am to 6:30pm across Kilcummin & the Pres Gym, the tournament brought together 8 teams for a brilliant end-of-season competition. Thanks to St Brendan’s, Kenmare Kestrels, Corca Dhuibhne, Athea Vixens, St Colman’s, and St Joseph’s for taking part and contributing to such a competitive and enjoyable day.

🏆 Cup Final

Killarney Cougars 31 – St Brendan’s 19

A superb performance from our U14 Girls to win the Cup Final against a strong St Brendan’s side. Both Division 1 teams came into the final undefeated, and after falling short against the same opposition during the regular season, the girls produced a fantastic display to take the title.

🛡 Shield Final

Athea Vixens defeated St Joseph’s in an exciting and closely contested final.

A brilliant way to close out the season for this group — a credit to the players, coaches, and the entire club 🔴🔵

Killarney Cougars Basketball Club are excited to host the Spring Super 6 Series next Saturday in the Pres Gym, Killarney — a fast-paced tournament featuring U11 Boys teams ready to compete, play hard, and enjoy a brilliant day of basketball.

Expect great energy, exciting games, and plenty of young talent on show as teams battle it out on the court in this special spring event.
