Gzira (island in Maltese) Syndicate, is a horse racing partnership who was founded in 2018, when a group of friend from Ireland, Sardinia and Malta, meet up in ParisLongchamp for the magic weekend of the "Arc de Trimphe".

The season goes ahead for Dragon of Malta, declared to run tomorrow in Roscommon at 19.15 over 7 1/2f. After the best winning of his career 17 days ago in Galway, he raised 9lb for that success. One year ago was 2nd of Earls on the same mark. Colin Keane rides.

Today at 4.55 gmt Dragon of Malta is running at The Curragh in a competitive Apprentice Handicap over the mile. The horse came out very well from Killarney race and is looking to run well, dispite a wide draw. Jake Coen on board.

Good debut of Pearl of Malta against nine colts, 7th halfway, pushed along and kept on one pace from over 2f out. Another impressive performance of our fighter Dragon who kept on inside final furlong to go 3rd.

Another interesting day in Killarney, on Saturday 1st for the sindycate with the debut of our 2yo Pearl of Malta (Profitable) in a maiden over a mile. The filly will be ride by Billy Lee and it will be an introductional race to plan her future. Dragon of Malta at 3.40 will finally find the soft ground looking forward to see him finishing very close. Jake Coen on board.

After a busy day at Listowel festival, the Syndicate went home with two 4th places. Rose of Malta closed favourite but she did not break well again and finished not far on the near side. Dragon did his best with 15 draw and 64kg fought until the end finishing a 2 lenghts from the winner.
