Scouting Ireland's Ulster MPC 2025. Not only did Neil Burns organise cracking weather, he threw in an almost full moon to boot. Remember to change the batteries before you need to use same. The moon actually threw more usable light!

Congrats to Ibraim, Insara, Beth and Bede from North Connacht College on passing their Mountain Skills Assesment. Apologies for the ankle deep mud and water on the Night Nav guys, but you took it all in your stride. Or should that be pace count?

Something's amiss. MS1 in the Cooley Mountains and only wore waterproofs to keep the breeze off. Thanks to Lillian, Robert, Irene, Julie, Caiomhe and Matt from the Tinahely Walkers for a great weekend's crack and loads of navigation practice. Pity about the match Saturday night, but I s'pose you can't get all the stars to align on command.....
