Regional Strokeplay took place yesterday in Bagenalstown. In the ladies section Ina O’Donnell would claim first place. Great result for Ina and all in the club are delighted to see her back in action after a short spell on the sidelines.
Gents Senior would see Patrick Robinson take the runner’s up prize. Well done Patrick and Ina and to all winners across the grades.

Credit to Bagenalstown for the well prepared course and hospitality and competition secretary Dean Grannell and CKW board for another well run competition. ⛳️⛳️.

Best of luck to Patrick Robinson,Jack Mc Shane and Michael Kehoe as they take part in the Leinster Matchplay finals tomorrow in Kildare at McDonagh Pitch and Putt club. ⛳️

CKW Regional Matchplay was completed today in a sunny Gowran. A good spread of clubs represented in the different finals...

CKW Regional Matchplay was completed today in a sunny Gowran. A good spread of clubs represented in the different finals. The Ladies section would see an all Gowran final with Stasia Heafey beating Lorna Mc Nally in the final.
In the Gents Junior B Larry Fenlon from Gowran would finish as runner up to Brad Meehan from Bagenalstown. In the Gents Junior Kenneth Hickey from Bagenalstown had a strong finish to claim victory on the 37th hole with Stephen Costello from Tramore as runner up.
Intermediate Gents would see home player Jack McShane take the win with a great display in his first adult competition with Ronan Hogan of Ashgrove as runner up
Senior Gents had a familiar winner with Dean Grannell from St Patrick’s beating his club mate Dan Power in the final.
Overall a very successful weekend for the region and a big thanks once again to the Gowran ladies for looking after everyone over the whole weekend and all who helped out with the course to prepare and present it in the condition for all to play on over the two days. Thanks also and well done to CKW competition secretary Dean Grannell and the Regional board for a very well run competition.
