We are always happy to accept donations of any outgrown or retired KAD uniform bits! Shoes, cardigans, leotards, skirts, we will take them all. Everything is sold second hand in our studio for €5 and then we donate all of the money to charity at the end of the year. Help us raise money for charity while helping yourself to clean out the house, it’s a win win!

We definitely wouldn’t be ready to start our new term without these fabulous faces! I’m sure many of you recognise a few teenagers from seeing them helping at rehearsals, shows, summer camps, and weekly classes throughout the year, we are so lucky to have such a kind and willing bunch who always seem to be volunteering for more (I guess they might not hate spending time with us….)
After spending today doing some helper training and prepping for next week, we are all ready to see everyone back to class from Monday 31st August. 🩰

We couldn’t let August pass without thanking the amazing guest teachers who came down for our Senior Summer intensive. We are so lucky to get such a variety of styles and knowledge for our seniors to learn from every year. Roll on next year already!

This Monday we brought some of our students down to the Enable Ireland Kilkenny branch for a tour of their facilities. Each show year we choose a different charity to donate the show proceeds to and this year, the money from our Peter Pan and Encore shows went to Enable. They do such important work for children with complex disabilities, allowing them to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities.
It was so lovely to see inside their building and get a small glimpse at all the services they offer, and it was great for our students to see what all their hard work has been able to contribute to. Thanks to everyone in the Kilkenny branch for letting us visit, and to everyone who came to our shows and allowed us to donate this money to a wonderful cause!

Have you booked into our junior or senior intensive yet?This week is an intensive dance course to give students a chance to see what it is like to be part of a full time dance training course.
