📣 Kilkenny Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP)
The Kilkenny Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) is a long-term strategy that will help shape the future of transport and mobility in Kilkenny City and its surrounding areas.

🚴🛣️ The SUMP includes recommendations for walking, cycling, public transport, roads and traffic management, alongside measures such as public realm improvements, safe routes to school zones, park and ride/stride facilities, mobility hubs, wayfinding and a parking strategy.

🚌 The plan aims to improve access to education, employment and key services by enhancing walking, cycling and public transport networks, while reducing car dependency and supporting a healthier, more connected and sustainable city.

🚴 Slow Roll and Bike Fest Kilkenny City
Join us for a slow roll through Kilkenny City streets on Sunday 17th May. Meet at the Parade at 11am. No booking required. Bring your own bike for slow roll.
Finish at County Hall for off-road, grass track racing, obstacle course and learn to cycle 12pm to 3pm. Mountain bikes available for off-road.
