Ever feel like exercise sometimes has notions....HIIT this, and metabolic that? There is so much confusion about exercise that it often stops people doing any! People were fit and healthy long before pricey memberships, group classes, nutrition plans or technical clothes....you don't need these things. Gyms and classes are great if that's your thing, but if your not into that there are other ways.....just walk!! Put on your shoes and go for a walk that is brisk enough that you feel yourself sweat a little or your heart rate going up....doesnt have to be uncomfortable to be effective it just has to be time putting one foot in front of the other! Don't have an hour, don't have 30 minutes... no problem, go for however much time you do have.....10 minutes is better than 0 minutes....it can be that simple!

Would Pilates suit you?
We are looking for the following type of people:

1. Want to keep your body strong and healthy as you age.
2. Have a basic level of fitness such as walking a few times a week, or being generally active in some way.
3. You are willing to commit to attending at least 6 of the 8 weeks course (nothing changes based on things we do some of the time...we know it works....but you have to show up!!)

We are almost booked out but have a limited number of places in our Monday (Intermediate) and Thursday (beginners and improvers) classes both at 6.30pm.
Pilates gently builds strength, keeps you mobile and reduces pain and injury. It is not a quick fix - but you will feel the benefits quickly - and most of our clients keep coming back long-term as it is a commitment to your own health and wellbeing. Classes are held. in St. Patricks Parish Centre in Loughboy and are booked on a course basis of 8 weeks (€80). We like to see that people are suitable for our classes before letting them sign up so if you would like one of our last trial classes please message today.

Do you qualify for our Pilates trial? Our ever-popular Pilates classes are back for 2020. We are almost booked out but have a limited number of places in our Thursday class at 6.30pm (beginners and improvers level). We are looking for the following type of people:

1. Want to keep your body strong and healthy as you age.

Are you feeling aches, pain and stiffness but you still have too many years and too many plans to feel like that just yet? Kilkenny’s No.1 Pilates classes are back for the year and have classes to gently keep your body moving so that you can stay active and healthy to live life on your terms. Thanks to everyone who has messaged about Pilates classes starting next week, we are almost booked up. Our classes are popular because our approach works so we are only looking for people who:
1. don't necessarily want to be gym bunnies but are ready to push themselves at their own pace to tackle issues such as back pain, joint pain, stiffness, low mood etc.
2. serious about looking after their health, who want to make positive changes so they can enjoy an active life for many years to come;
3. are ready to commit to doing at least 7 of the 8 week course to keep themselves accountable for the changes.
If you fit the bill please message me. Classes start on Monday 2nd September and Thursday 5th September, both at 6.30pm in Loughboy, Kilkenny. Its an 8-week course for 80 euros and new clients can try the first night out before signing up so its no-risk.

Too adorable not to to share.....We love a good side leg series in our Pilates classes, this cutie is making it look like it’s a bit too easy though....complete opposite of the sheer grit on faces by the end our classes 😂😂
