Class details
Kids 6yrs up . Tuesday's & Thursdays 6 till 7pm Monasterevin Shotokan Karate Club is based in Co Kildare.

We have Female, Male and Junior Instructors

We Train in St Paul's School Hall. The Club is affiliated to U.S.K.F.I.. all our Students are graded by the U.S.K.F.I National or international grading panel . We will also have access to regular Seminars and courses given by the National Coaches and International Sensei's . U.S.K.F.I. also hold regular National competitions which our students will be

encouraged to attend if they wish to compete.. We also have students who regularly complete at international events

All of the above will insure the continued development of both instructors and Students in our Club .

Another fantastic afternoon this week with the turn of our Junior belts Grading....
Some fine karate displayed today...well done to our MSKC students and to ALL students who graded today ...
Massive thank you again to Sensei Michael Sherlock for giving up his 2nd weekend in a row to help and coach the guys ...we always really appreciate him...and to Sensei Keith for organising the last 2 weeks events and all the help behind the scenes ...

Such a great day today with my MSKC guys at the USKFI Youth Championships ...
6 Students entered in a packed event with over 100+ competitors... and all 6 done so well advancing through rounds and taking away invaluable experience to carry with them going forward..
Congratulations to Ryan picking up Joint 3rd ...and our Freddie picking up GOLD in Kumite ...
Well done boys .. .so proud of ye.

Our club can help guide you through the Competition side of Karate if you wish with links to National competitions and Squads selections or maybe you'd just like to train for your own wellbeing.. either way you'll find karate something you can enjoy..

We accept Juniors from the age of 6 up .. We are now starting a new batch of beginners classes so it's a great time to get involved ..

All Instructors have completed Sports Irelands Code of Ethics for children in sports, have also attended First Aid CourseS and all been passed the National Garda vetting procedure..

Well done and congratulations to all the students who graded yesterday in our last grading of the year in the Newbridge Dojo under the watchful eyes of Sensei Michael Sherlock!!!!
Special well done to all our MSKC gang who as always done myself and our little club so proud !!!!

Thanks as always to Sensei Sherlock for giving of his time and guidance to all the kids ...it's always very much appreciated....

Some of our mighty little MSKC Club members yesterday at the USKFI Open Championship !!!!
A huge event by all accounts and for these guys to have the courage to put themselves out there in front of such a big crowd and give their all...makes us very proud 👏
Sometimes we Win....Sometimes we LEARN !!!! NEVER LOSE !!!!
A great bunch of kids and not only that they are all a great bunch of Friends to each other which is so lovely to see !!!!!
