HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP HEATS UP AS THE RACE FOR GLORY ENTERS THE FINAL STRAIGHT

Four rounds down and the 2026 Gaelic Masters Hurling Championship is delivering everything we could have hoped for – high scoring contests, dramatic twists, and a title race that remains wide open.

At the top of the table, Galway and Limerick sit locked together on six points after winning three of their four outings. Galway have recovered brilliantly from their opening-round defeat to Tipperary, while Limerick's powerful attacking displays have made them one of the most feared sides in the championship.

Defending champions Tipperary remain unbeaten on the field and would be sitting alongside the leaders were it not for a one-point deduction for failing to fulfil a fixture on time. The Premier County are very much in the hunt and know that every point could prove crucial in the weeks ahead.

Cork and Dublin remain firmly in contention on four points. Both sides have shown flashes of brilliance and will believe they can still force their way into the knockout picture.

Kildare continue to battle bravely and have been rewarded with a valuable victory, while Wexford's campaign has been hampered by a point deduction despite showing plenty of spirit throughout the competition.

London may still be searching for their first points, but their commitment and determination continue to embody everything that is great about Masters Hurling.

The race for All-Ireland glory is far from over.

Kildare Masters take on londonmastersgaa this weekend at leixlipgaaclub in both codes, hurling and football !! This is the first double header of the two county’s and of its kind and in the Gaelic Masters Association as London has only recently joint the hurling ranks.. with the weather to pick up over the weekend it’ll make for a great days entertainment, as there will be free tea’s and coffee’s provided by our friends in Leixlip Gaa 👏🤗 also thanks to our generous sponsors manguardplus_
