**The Healthy Club project aims to transform GAA clubs into health-enhancing hubs for their communities.
**With flagship Healthy Clubs now in every county of Ireland, the GAA is calling on more clubs to get involved
**So far, over 12,000 people have benefitted from physical activity programmes and 50% of Healthy Clubs are now smoke-free zones
**1,000 people engaged with mental health and emotional wellbeing programmes
**Over half (55%) of Healthy Clubs delivered healthy eating programmes targeting teenagers in particular
Robertstown GFC are delighted to launch their participation in the GAA Healthy Club Initiative. The Healthy Club project launch took place on Monday 7th May 2018. This took place as part of the Official opening of the new facilities at Robertstown GFC. The new facilities include Match standard floodlighting, Astroturf pitch, Gym, and walking track as well as new entrance and security fencing. The day also involved a 5k fun run and family field day. The official opening and launch of Healthy club project was carried out by Sonia O Sullivan who also took part on the 5k run.
The club will be announcing a number of events and programmes with the aim of improving the health and wellbeing of our members and the local community
