youths blitz started today between South kildare soldiers. UL and Cork Admirals.

first up was South kildare soldiers vs UL. what a game! while The soldiers came away with the win with a depleted squad. UL did not make it easy for them. with some great defense and massive drives they threatened several times to score. soldiers were able to dig deep and come away with the win

Next up was Cork Admirals vs UL. Cork came with a strong team and even numbers to the UL squad. unfortunately UL found it tough to get a score as Admirals came to the win with a shut out.

Third game was soldiers vs admirals.....

it was tense.. verryyy tense!! Admirals took the lead early and while soldiers did get a Td they couldn't capitalise on it. hard fought game between the two teams and a late touch down and 2 pointer saw the soldiers trail 14 points to 28. end of the day the admirals came way with the win.

Massive effort by all three teams and if today was anything to go by the second day of the blitz is going to be cracking!!!

the future of the sport is bright with the youths and looking at today. We're looking at an amazing few years of football in the next few years.

Training This Saturday 11.00 Am in Edenderry. Open to youths 16-19 years old

Youth Players must be born on or between 1st January 1999 (01/01/1999) and 1st July 2002 (01/07/2002).

All you need is boots, water and a gumshield.
