Congratulations to our newly certified Weightlifting Ireland Level 1 Coaches. 👩🏼‍🎓👨🏼‍🎓

Malta International Open - 2026 / 🇲🇹

We’d like to congratulate the entire team who represented at this event recently. Two athletes and one coach from our club were selected to be on the team this year! 🔥☘️

Tom Shannon & Martha Rochford made their international debuts for Weightlifting Ireland and both represented their country, club and themselves exceptionally well! Both have some big goals of making more international teams in the near future. Here’s to the future and we are so excited to support them on their journey! 🚀✨

We are also extremely proud to see Joyce continue to gain more international experience as a coach and become an even stronger role model for all female coaches in our club and the sport! 💪🏼🌟

Our Head Coach says this all the time, especially when we are in the thick of a tough cycle. It’s a reminder that feeling the weight is just part of the deal. We trade hours of work and months of patience for that split second of success on the platform. ⏳
