Hello Everyone,
Please find below information regarding our Annual Show. We are looking forward to the day and to seeing everyone and your lovely horses.
Judging will start at 10.00am sharp with the Ridden 4 & 5 year olds.
Competitions are taking place in the All-weather Arenas to the right of the top of the driveway into Punchestown Racecourse.
When picking up your numbers before competing, please bring passports for checking. Please declare any Connemaras for the Derby Classes.
There is a coffee van on site - coffee, and they take cash as well as card.
Please use the bins provided or bring your rubbish home with you.
If not already a Member and would like to join, application forms will be available at the Check-in beside the Red Hut adjacent to Ring.

Protective headgear conforming to the recommended Kitemark standard and fitted with an adjustable harness is compulsory for all riders in all ridden classes and body protectors are compulsory for all riders while jumping in both the competition and the practice area.
Please refer to the Rules of the Show for all show conditions. Please note in particular, rule No. 15, to be eligible for the Supreme Championship (& category Championships) animals must be the progeny of Class 1 or Class 2 stallions and Class 1 or Class 2 mares or grade up mares.
Please respect our Stewards, we are all Volunteers and will be doing our best to ensure the day runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
The following are estimated timelines:
Class 1 8 horses 1hr 10 - 11am
Class 2 8 horses 1hr 11 - 12 noon
Class 3 15 horses 1.5 hrs 12 - 1.30pm
Class 4 7 horses 1 hr 1.30 - 2.30pm
Championships x 4 30 mins 2.30 - 3pm
Derby 80's 30 entries 1.5hrs 3.15 - 4.45pm
Derby 1m 22 entries 1 hr 4.45 - 5.45pm
Format for the two Irish Draught Performance Classes : Going in Catalogue Order; Enter the ring, give your number to the ring steward, and proceed directly to the first fence.
On completion of the course of fences, show an extended canter along one side of the arena.
Each fence gets a mark out of 10, and there will be a mark for way of going. The top 6 scores will be called back for Conformation and Ride Assessment.
The Derby classes will take place over the same Performance course and will be timed and winners will be decided by the fastest round with the minimum jumping penalties.
