2026 National Strokeplay - Tullamore⛳️

Anto Mahoney was first on the teebox this morning and posted a -9 score for his 36. In the afternoon session Ian Dillon shot -15 to leave him in second place, two shots behind Fermoy’s John Cahill on -17.

Both players progressed to the Final 20 Playoff. In what was a toe-to-toe opening 12 holes, Ian managed to tie the lead after an impressive -7 for the first 12, but his momentum came to a halt as they entered the last 6 holes. John was relentless and didn’t put a foot wrong the entire round to go on and take the victory.

Congratulations to Ian on his 4th Position this year (beaten on B18 for 2nd & 3rd) and this gives him Automatic Qualification to next years championship. He has been knocking on the door in numerous national events over the last number of years and no doubt his day will come in the near future!

Anto didn’t have the same fortune as earlier in the day but its was fantastic to have two representatives from the club battling it out with the best players in the country!👏
