With the recent updates from most gyms to close and for good reason! I decided to go out for a run this morning and also put myself through a body weight circuit.

Here’s just some little clips of exercises I did just to show you some examples of what we can do outdoors if we don’t have a gym! 🙌🏻

Ill post some more home workouts etc. in the coming days incase some people are feeling a little lost without the gym.

Anyone who wants a home workout sent to them free of charge DM me.

Client and good friend of mine showing that trusting the process will get you results.

Photo on the right was just before he started Personal Training with myself and his goal was in his own words “I want to get bigger”.

The photo on the left was today, and yes myself and himself are well aware that there is lots to do and lots to work on and there is room for improvements. However, the results are there and I am buzzing for him. No matter what the progress is, if it’s little or loads. It’s better than nothing and it’s better than before you started. Keep moving forward.

Focus on yourself and f**k everyone else around you.
I’m hearing a lot of “oh look at him” or “oh look at her”. May it be for a good or bad reason.

Don’t bother with what others are doing or not doing.

Be consistent with your diet and training. Allow for the odd “cheat meal” here and there. Train 3 times a week at least.

Set goals and targets then go smash them.

💪🏻 FOAM ROLLING 💪🏻

What is foam rolling??
Foam rolling is basically a cheaper way of getting a deep tissue massage. 😂🤷‍♂️
Look after your body the best you can and try avoid paying an unnecessary €50 to someone! 👀

Why do we foam roll?

* It is used to relieve knots in the body. Knots can be quite painful and occur when your fascia tighten and become tense.
* Foam rolling allows blood flow through the muscle.
* We foam roll to improve flexibility which should therefore impact on your workout in a positive way!
* Foam rolling moves lactic acid in the muscle. By foam rolling you hopefully should then give the muscle a faster recovery time.

Personally speaking my body can get quite tense due to training and also the large number of classes I teach each week probably doesn’t help too 😂 I try to foam roll everyday to loosen out my muscles and improve my flexibility.

A small investment in a foam roller can go a long way! 😊
