Here at Kells Tenis Club we have teamed up with our neighbour Jacks Bar Restaurant Garden to spread a bit of community spirit - A huge thank you to The Minister for Justice Helen Mc Entee who officially cut the red ribbon today for the new Defibrillator that we have purchased and installed for the surrounding community.
There are approx 3,000 people living this side of the town of Kells and we really should have one.
The Defibrillator is in a temperature controlled box so that it will be available 24/7 in all weather.
The code is 999 and the unit has step by step audio if needed. Hopefully if needed it saves a life.
Both staff in the Tennis Club and here in Jacks have training in CPR and use of the Defibrillator.
