U12 off first at 3pm. 4.63km. Start P51 A7K3 to P51 DX68.
(Start across the road from the property, heading west towards Kanturk from Mallow.)

Munster Road Race Championship hosted by Blarney Cycling Club yesterday, starting off with lashing rain and finishing in sunshine 🌞
Olivier, Marcus and Gary powered on through the four seasons in a few laps, Stephen took the win in C2 🥇💪 well done lads 💪 and well done to Marcus who also took on the Munster TT on Saturday in Nenagh 💪

Mid Cork Summer League

Last night was the final round of the Blarney Cycling Club Mid Cork Summer Leaguewhich ran on the original Shournagh Line circuit. On the night The M50/M60 lead group held off group 2 and they then held off the scratch group all by narrow margins.

After 8 weeks of racing, Barry secured the overall victory with a few wins and podiums along the way, remaining consistent throughout. We were well represented every night, Daniel took the win on night 2, Oran and Daragh also featured on the podium on the nights they attended.
Congrats to Olivier on taking the C2 outright win, Also a big Kudos to Gary coming from the Adventure racing scene on his 1st season of road racing with us, the league was a great place to learn some race craft with a couple of top 10 finishes along the way.

Speaking with Barry after last nights race, He commended all the Volunteer’s and marshals for keeping the junctions safe, a special thanks went to Eoin Allen for putting it all together, looking after the results and keeping “Pasty’s League” alive. Barry said, “Patsy Crowley was a great friend of mine and our club in Kanturk, himself and Danny were mighty friends and racing Rivals back in the day.
Look it’s a class league, a brilliant opportunity for us older lads to be competitive and be still somewhat relevant, I was the youngest on the podium tonight at 42, Surrounded by M50 and M60 men, we’ll be back next year please god”

🇮🇪 Nationals 2026 Race Report 🇮🇪

This year, the racing headed north. Hosted by Square Wheels CC, on the Tyrone/Armagh border, it was a fantastic weekend of racing!

First up, well done to Ryan, Fionn (U11), and Cathal (U12), who competed in their first National Championships across all three events.
Congratulations also to Laura (U13), who took in the criterium.

A huge congratulations to Jennifer (U16), who secured a superb National Silver Medal 🥈 with a fantastic 2nd-place finish in the Time Trial.

Joel (U13) raced brilliantly all weekend, earning an incredible hat-trick of silver medals:

🥈 2nd in the Road Race
🥈 2nd in the Criterium

Cullen (U14) successfully retained his title as National Road Champion for the third year in a row, taking victory in the Road Race with a powerful bunch-sprint finish! 🥇 🇮🇪

Gavin fought well all weekend in U15, no easy feat! 💪

A special thank you to Barry for travelling to the racing on Saturday to support and encourage our young riders.

And, of course, thank you to Danny and Joan for their continued dedication and hard work for the club throughout the season.

A fantastic weekend for the club, with great performances, valuable experience gained, and more National medals added to the collection.
