We’re heading back to the woods!

Our weekly woodland sessions will be starting again from next week in Belleek Woods, with groups for different ages and stages.

🌿Muddy Play: Parent & Child
Wednesdays | 10:30am –12pm
For children from walking age up, with younger siblings in slings welcome too. Tea and coffee included for the grown-ups!

🌿Woodland Adventurers: Ages 4–8
Wednesdays | 3:30–5:30pm

🌿Home Ed Woodland Group
Thursdays | 12–3pm

🌿Woodland Adventurers: Ages 8+
Thursdays | 4–6pm

The sessions will include plenty of time to play and explore, along with seasonal activities, crafts, group challenges, bushcraft and tool use.

All sessions are led by a qualified Forest School Leader and work along with the interests of the groups, giving children time and space to build confidence, learn new skills and enjoy being outdoors.

What a weekend!

This weekend we had none other than Daredevil legend Charlie Cox and his family and friends for a private hiking and camping weekend.

We had the tents and camp set up for their arrival, supplied all the camping equipment and looked after the food, so they could just turn up and enjoy it all.

We headed out for a beautiful hike and lake dip. Then it was back to the camp while we took the kids for some bushcraft and to get the fire going while the adults escaped to the sauna!
We cooked up an absolute feast over the fire and finished off the evening with s’mores galore and chats as the sun went down!

Breakfast cooked up the next morning with pancakes for the kids, eggs and bacon with lots of coffee for the adults….
Then a handy walk before the big pack up and drive home!

A great weekend with lots of adventure for the kids and plenty of comforts for the adults.
Such a lovely bunch to spend the weekend with.
Thanks so much for trusting us to put it all together!

And thanks to Niamh for helping out all weekend and to Willie for the amazing food…

Finally getting around to sharing a few photos from our summer surf camps after a pretty hectic summer!

Our time on the beach was amazing, with lots of waves, sun and only the odd flat day! We even had a a very curious seal popping up to see what was going on lots of days along with some tiny hermit crabs on another🦭🦀

The kids were brilliant and brought great energy to every session, whatever the weather or waves were doing.

Thanks a million to everyone who joined us over the summer, and to all the parents for booking with us, coming back and spreading the word. We really appreciate all the support.

After four brilliant weeks of camps in the woods we can’t wait to get back in the waves next week!

Our August surf camps kick off on Tuesday and we still have a couple of spots available.

Whether your child is trying surfing for the first time or already surfs we run small group sessions ensuring everyone gets lots of 1:1 attention to build confidence, improve their skills and most importantly have heaps of fun in the water!

Starts Tuesday 4th, weekly camps, daily lessons and rentals through August

Got very lucky to catch this kestrel on the hunt at last light. 🦅

Kestrels have incredible eyesight. In daylight they can even see ultraviolet light, helping them spot the urine trails left by small rodents and identify the best places to hunt. By evening they’re relying on that same incredible vision to pick up the slightest movement in the grass below.

I never get tired of watching kestrels in action, and seeing one hunting in the fading light made this one extra special

The past two weeks at our woods camps have been amazing. With the warm weather, the trees have given us the perfect bit of shade while we've been busy making, crafting, exploring and playing.

The mini rafts and the stream have definitely been a big hit in the heat, with plenty of time spent building, experimenting and seeing whose craft could make it the furthest!

Every group over the past two weeks has been brilliant. It's been lovely to watch the kids work together, use their imaginations, and see new friendships grow as the week went on.

Summer camp season is just around the corner and we can't wait for another summer of adventures in the woods and on the ...

Summer camp season is just around the corner and we can't wait for another summer of adventures in the woods and on the beach.

From bushcraft and den building to surfing, beach games, nature exploration and crafts, or outdoor challenges, We've got heaps planned, making sure every child has the chance to explore, create, challenge themselves, and have lots fun in nature.

Our aim is simple, get kids outdoors, having fun, trying new things, and making memories they'll be talking about long after summer is over.

Thanks a million to everyone who has booked already. Some camps have already filled, so if you're thinking of booking a spot, now is the time.

We can't wait to get going and see all the kids back in the woods and on the water again!

The last two weeks have been the busiest we've had since starting, with school groups joining us for all sorts of adventures across the woods and beaches of Mayo and Sligo.

We've welcomed junior classes for beach days, groups enjoying surf and beach activity days, and woodland adventures for all ages filled with impressive den builds, teamwork challenges, crafts, exploration, and plenty of wild fun, with lots of opportunities for kids to simply be kids.

It's been a huge pleasure to spend time with so many great children and their teachers, and we're incredibly grateful for all the support and kind words from the schools.

It's been lovely to see so many children and teachers embracing the outdoors, trying new things, getting stuck into activities, and having plenty of fun along the way. One of the things we really loved was seeing the teachers getting stuck in too!

Thanks a million to everyone who joined us.

The next two weeks are shaping up to be just as busy as we become a bit more mobile, delivering sessions in schools and other locations throughout the Northwest.

After that, we'll be straight into our summer camps, and we can't wait for another season of adventures, roll on muddy boots and sandy toes!
