We’re open today for the Montellpellier v challenge cup final , and tomorrow for the Bordeaux Begles v Champions Cup Final, with free nibbles for all and free drink & chocolate bar for kids!!

Last week our U13 Boys headed on tour down to our friends in , to renew our bonds of friendship by playing for the Casey Ryan cup. A great morning was had by all, with some great rugby on show from all teams. Outgoing President Liam Murphy and Pat Ryan presented the Cup to the victorious Greystones boys, and a signed Greystones jersey was presented to Pat Ryan, in recognition of the strong connection between the two clubs. Huge thanks to parents and volunteers in WWRFC for their amazing hospitality. Thanks also to our tour sponsors and Dwyer Nolan Developments for their continued support of this team, and helping make more great memories for this group of boys.

Three very successful sessions of Mixed Touch Rugby so far at the Club!!

A great crowd has shown up each time, with varying experience of Touch from complete beginners to seasoned sports players. It has been great fun and we’re looking forward to keeping up this enthusiasm throughout the summer! For anyone who would like to give it a try, we train every Monday from 8:00pm here at Greystones RFC.

What a special day at Greystones RFC Mini Rugby! 💚

This year, we were proud to introduce a new tradition - naming our Player of the Year awards in honour of those who helped build and shape our mini section. It was a fantastic way to recognise the legacy of coaches and volunteers who gave so much to the club over the years.

👏 U10 Girls – The Paul & Miriam Mahon Award, presented with Sinead Mahon representing the family
👏 U12 Girls – The Jo & Rory O’Connor Award, presented by Rory, who shared heartfelt words about Jo’s lasting impact on minis rugby, there with sons Paul and David.
👏 U10 Boys – The Bob Willis Award, presented by Bob’s son, Shane Willis. Hard luck as well to Bob’s grandson, Ben, who was in action for the U16s this afternoon and narrowly lost out to Seapoint in their semi-final
👏 U11 Boys – The Bernard Rogan Award, presented by Bernards wife, Lorraine Rogan and joined by family. We also send our best wishes to Bernard’s grandson, former Greystones mini player James Nicholson, for a speedy recovery from surgery — we hope to see him back playing with Connacht soon 💪
👏 U12 Boys – The Tim Harnett Award, presented by Tim, alongside his son Michael

A huge thank you to all the coaches, parents, organisers, and Club President Liam Murphy for their continued support and contribution to the mini section.

And finally, a special word of thanks to Tom Nolan for ensuring everything ran so smoothly.

Days like this remind us what Greystones RFC is all about - community, family, and rugby for all, well done to all the boys and girls who represent the club with honour💚

🏆🏆 DOUBLE CHAMPIONS 🏆🏆
Our U16 Girls are both Leinster Division 1 and Metro League Champions in one week!

The team defeated Barnhall 36–26 in the Metro League Final to complete an incredible double win. A great game from Barnhall RFC, a very physical and powerful performance, but Greystones had the footwork, skill, and the leaders when it counted 💚

Two finals. Two trophies. Double champions. Well done all!

Our Women’s team are staying in top condition ahead of their tour with a friendly fixture this Saturday against a touring side, Silhillian Sirens. Kickoff is 1:00pm at Dr Hickey Park!!

U14s crowned Leinster Premier League Champions 🏆

Greystones RFC U14s crowned League Champions after a 36-28 win over Newbridge RFC over the weekend. Huge congratulations to the players, coaches, management and players on this incredible achievement!! Thank you to for a fantastic game of rugby 🤝 Well done all!
