Another Tug day down at The Farm Grenagh.. There was six different groups attended in two very close fought events.
Firstly the 500 6aside was won by Mulcair and second the Catch specialist Tournafulla took home the Catchweight 6aside.
Massive thanks to all who attended today and all other days this year.
This sport is yours.. You are the sport.. On to Clonaslee Show next week.. Laois we are on route..💪..

Today, was the turn of the beautiful Strand Village to host an event in the back end of there busy Vintage day.
Five teams took part, Strand A and Strand B, Tournafulla, Donoughmore U23 and Castlegregory..
Tournafulla won the event comfortably pulling Strand A in too straight ends..
Next event is the first ever Munster Festivals Tug of War Final in conjunction with the harvest day at The Farm Grenagh on 7th Of September..
This was the final from today.. see you all The Farm Grenagh 💪💪

WHAT A SHOW...😳... Massive credit to Ahiohill Vintage Club and all the local people of Ahiohill and surrounding Villages.. It is honestly no doubt the hidden gem on a busy schedule of Vintage in Cork.
Eight teams of 8aside took part in the main Tug today organised and ran by our good friend Tom McCarthy of Carbery Tug of War.. We had Contractors Ladies, kids, Mixed and more Kids pulling..
The winning team was the Four Winds bar and boy did they earn it against Cyril Macs Crew.. No doubt a great night to be had in Ahiohill tonight..
West Cork had and always will have a great Tug Of War community.. Just looking around the crowd i counted seven men watching on who competed at European Tug of war down throughout the years.. Thank you Ahiohill..💪💪..

Lads get your Contractor buddy's and head for Ahiohill Vintage Club next Sunday.. This Contractor Tug event is a for fun only event.. We have been to many of these events throughout the years and they simply are the best crack ever.. Come along and pull for the Thropy and bragging rights of Ahiohill Festival..💪💪..
