When the Whitegate Camogie crew walked into The Hurley Hut at the weekend, there was genuine confusion… 🤔
Was it an audition for the next chart-topping girl band? 🎤
Or had the cast of Love Island taken a wrong turn? 🌴😂
Either way, they left looking even better… armed with brand-new hurls, fresh grips, sliotars and enough Glowballs to light up the parish after dark! 💥🏑
Best of luck to all the ladies for the season ahead – although with that squad arriving together, they’ll be turning heads before they’re turning defenders! 😅

🚨 Future superstar alert… or future influencer? 🚨
Young Killian Gully from Clonlara called into The Hurley Hut recently and left with a couple of XL 65s, both fitted out with Lightning grips. ⚡🔥
Playing both U16 and minor, Killian means business on the pitch… but if we’re honest, he seemed nearly more excited about getting his photo up on the Hurley Hut page! 📸😅 We’re expecting autograph requests to start any day now.
Best of luck for the season, Killian – may the hurls stay whole and the scores keep flying over the bar! 🏑💪

Another legend of the game called into The Hurley Hut recently! 🏆
A huge welcome to Clare great Brendan Bugler — 2-time All-Star, All-Ireland winner, and one of the toughest defenders of his generation. Brendan called in with Cathal, Daragh & Erinn, and it looks like the hurling genes have well and truly been passed down! 👌🏑
The trio were busy picking out their new Jordans and making sure they were properly equipped for the months ahead. With Brendan guiding them, there was no shortage of advice on hand — whether they wanted it or not! 😄
As a former Wexford selector, it was no surprise to see the Bugler family leaving with a few Wexford-made sticks. Once you've spent enough time around the Model County, choosing a Jordan becomes second nature!
Great to see Brendan and the family in such good form. If Cathal, Daragh & Erinn inherit even half of their dad's determination and skill, there'll be plenty of silverware heading back towards Whitegate in the years ahead. 💪

🚗💨 Two young men from Four Roads, Roscommon made the pilgrimage to The Hurley Hut recently, proving that all roads really do lead to hurling!

After what we're told was a highly scientific and thoroughly researched selection process (staring at hurls for 20 minutes and saying "that one's savage"), they left armed with a couple of Moran's and 65s for themselves. 🏑🔥

The lads claimed they only came for a quick look... but as usual, the hurls had other ideas. We're expecting a serious improvement in first touch, striking and general swagger around Four Roads over the coming weeks.

Best of luck with the new sticks, lads — may they last longer than the average training session! 😅

🚨 HURL ALERT 🚨

Finn O'Brien from Monaleen, Co. Limerick called into The Hurley Hut recently and didn't leave empty-handed! 👌

After what can only be described as a nationwide treasure hunt, Finn managed to get his hands on two of the most sought-after sticks in the game — a Ronan Maher and a Moran hurl! 🔥

Rumour has it there were scouts, collectors, and a few desperate corner-forwards tracking these hurls down, but Finn got there first! 😎

Now all that's left is to see if the hurls can keep up with the man swinging them. Best of luck for the season, Finn, and thanks for the visit! 💪

🧤🚫 The Great Wall of Carnmore & her partner in crime called into The Hurley Hut before their Division 2 league semi-final clash with Oranmore Maree last week… and safe to say the new timber did the trick 😮‍💨🔥
Goalkeeper & shotstopper extraordinaire Trish Grealish picked up a brand new 65 Gripbas keeper while Jessica Donlon went for an XL Galway style 65 outfielder — a hurl so sweet it should probably come with a health warning ⚠️😂
Rumour has it Trish’s new Gripbas is stopping sliotars, footballs and possibly small tractors at this stage 🧱🥎 And Jessica’s XL bas has more lift in it than Aer Lingus ✈️
The girls got the job done in the semi-final and are now heading for the FINAL 💪🏆
Best of luck to Trish, Jessica and all at Carnmore Camogie Club in the final — no doubt the new hurls will be rattling points over and keeping nets empty 👏🔥

Two goalkeepers. Two rival counties. One mission… get their hands on the new Gripbas Goalkeeper from 65 😅🧤
Niall Connaughton from Caherline in Limerick and Liam Collins from St Thomas’s in Galway landed into The Hurley Hut at the exact same time looking for the very same stick 👀
There was tension in the air… we thought we were about to witness a penalty shootout in the middle of the shop 😆 Thankfully both lads left happy with a new Gripbas keeper hurl in hand 🪵🔥
A Galway keeper and a Limerick keeper in the one shop at the same time… we hid the sliotars just to be safe 😂🥎
Best of luck to both lads for the season ahead 💪

🧤 INTRODUCING — THE GRIPBAS 🧤
The 65 Goalkeeper Hurl built for keepers who demand durability, confidence and precision.
Truth be told… these have been around a while.
But now the cat is out of the bag. 👀
Trusted and used by former Dublin goalkeeper Alan Nolan, along with current intercounty keepers Sean Brennan and Eddie Gibbons.
The GripBas is reinforced using a fibreglass mesh, bonded together with a heavy-duty resin coat and finished with a sawdust grit texture.
Why does it matter?
Because ordinary bas can split or crack from repeated puck outs, especially in wet conditions or heavy striking.
The fibreglass mesh acts as a support layer through the bas, helping prevent cracking, splitting and weak points from developing over time.
You get serious durability without the need of banding & tacking, and only adding around the same weight as 2 x bands.
And the best part?
The GripBas costs the same as getting 2 bands fitted. 👀
The sawdust grit finish also gives extra grip on the sliotar during contact, especially on wet days, helping deliver cleaner strikes, sharper accuracy and more control under pressure.
✅ Reinforced mesh bas to help prevent cracking & splitting
✅ Same price as getting 2 bands fitted
✅ Peace of mind for keepers
✅ Extra control with sawdust grip bas
✅ Precision striking in all conditions
✅ Trusted by elite goalkeepers
THE GRIPBAS ⚡
Built for the modern goalkeeper.
