🟢⚪️ WHAT A WAY TO START THE SEASON! ⚪️🟢

The kids absolutely loved having Guinness Women’s Six Nations Player of the Championship, Aoife Wafer, up at the club on Sunday morning! 🏉

Aoife was, as always, absolutely brilliant with everyone — signing autographs, taking photos and giving so much of her time to all the kids. 👏

A huge thank you from everyone here at Gorey Rugby Club, Aoife. It was a fantastic morning and a great thrill for all our young players! 💚🤍

🏉 A new chapter for U20 rugby in the South East!

Our joint U20 project with Enniscorthy RFC got off to a brilliant start on Friday night, with a great buzz at our first training session together.

We’re now building towards our first-ever appearance in the U20 JP Flanagan Competition.

Born after 1 July 2006 or sat the Leaving Cert in 2025? Come along and get involved!

🏉 SARAH ROBINSON CUP – WINNING START! 🏉

A massive well done to Heather Considine and Hannah Leacy, who were part of a thrilling 33–26 victory over a strong North Midlands side in the opening round of the Sarah Robinson Cup last night at SETU Sports Campus. 💪🏉

A fantastic start to the competition and we’re absolutely delighted for both girls and their families.

It’s always a proud moment for Gorey RFC to see our players representing at this level, and even better when they come away with a great win! 👏

Well done Heather & Hannah – everyone at Gorey RFC is very proud of you both. 💚🤍💙

The good news keeps coming for the club!

A huge congratulations to Heather Considine, who has been named at No. 15 for the opening round of the Sarah Robinson Cup tomorrow night.

We’re also delighted to see Hannah Leacy, who joined Gorey RFC from Enniscorthy RFC last season, named among the replacements.

A fantastic achievement for both girls and another proud moment for Gorey RFC. 💚🤍💙

Congratulations to Heather, Hannah and their families — everyone at the club is right behind you!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS — FIVE GOREY BOYS STARTING! 🚨

What a fantastic night for Gorey RFC! 💚🤍💙

We are absolutely delighted and incredibly proud to announce that FIVE Gorey RFC players have been named in the starting squad for the opening round of the Shane Horgan Cup this Wednesday night in Carlow!

And it gets even better… 👏

To have five Gorey players starting at this level is a fantastic achievement — and to have Aidan named Captain and Tyler Vice Captain makes it an incredibly special occasion for our club.

A huge congratulations to all five lads and, of course, to their families. These are the nights and opportunities that young players work towards for years, and we hope you enjoy every minute of it.
