The Grass Track Underage Racing will start up this coming Monday 10th of July and continuing through August. Open to boys and girls ages 8 to 13, all competitors must be Cycling Ireland Limited Competition license holders which costs €10 (see Cycling Ireland Website http://www.cyclingireland.ie/page/membership/membership-overview/member-registration).

The event fees are €25 per 5 week session, however we will subtract your Cycling Ireland licence fee from the first session, so you'll only need pay us the balance of €15. All competitors must also register with Derek Webb at [email protected] and Derek will email you an info booklet which will explain what it involves.

It promises to be a great few weeks why not give it a try?

Coming this July and August for 8-13 year olds, Grass Track Racing is back in the town park for the first time in 40 years.

Ideal for total beginners wanting to try bicycle racing in a safe environment. Run by qualified cycling coaches, this is great to help get your child into a healthy sport.
