Founded In 1981, We Are A Proud Gaelic Football Club Situated In The Division Of Beara. Beara Junior B Champions 2025

Glengarriff GAA Club, founded in '1981' after breaking away form our neighbour's, Adrigole, is a proud Gaelic Football Club situated in the division of Beara, in the County of Cork. We currently field football teams, Junior ‘A’ right the ways down to and including Under 6’s. All our teams compete in Leagues, both in, the Beara & West Cork Divisions, while also competing in the Beara Championships’.

GlenGAA u10's travelled to Eyeries Park this evening for our Beara GAA go games with a strong Urhan side, thanks to the hosts. Well done to our players, mentor Donie and the parents who travelled.

Last Saturday, we rounded off our Kid's Camp with a football blitz for our Under 8 and Under 10 players 🏐🌟 We were delighted to welcome teams from Adrigole Gaa, Castletownbere Gaa, Muintir Bhaire GAA & Urhan GAA for a fantastic morning of football.

There was great football, friendship and fun on display throughout the blitz, with all the children showing brilliant sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

A huge thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who helped organise the morning and provided refreshments for the children afterwards. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped make the day such a success.

We would also like to thank all our young referees, Ava Enright, Johnnie Russell, Eoin McCarthy and Nienke Labuschagne who did a fantastic job officiating the games.

Finally, thank you once again to all of our incredible volunteers and our generous sponsors: OSB Group, The Wild Atlantic Bar, P.F. Well done to our u8 players @ Adrigole Monster Blitz this evening, delighted to team up with Castletownbere, Tom, Ryan, Reuben, Colm and Rian did really well. Thank you to Adrigole for the invite, 3 great games v the hosts, Garnish & Tuosist.

Funeral mass for Danny Coppinger, Kealkil takes place at 1pm today, Saturday in the church of the Immaculate Conception followed by burial in Kilmacomogue cemetary. All in Glengarriff GAA Club extend their heartfelt sympathies to his family during this time, may Danny and his recently deceased daughter Bridgette be reunited in their eternal reward.

Day 3 of our Kids’ Camp saw the children taking part in basketball, athletics and gaelic football, bringing three fantastic days of fun, friendship and activity to a close.

The children also enjoyed some fantastic face painting with Coco, adding even more fun and colour to the final evening. 🎨

A special highlight of the evening was recognising our basketball coach, Nuala, following her incredible achievement of representing Ireland at the FIBA World Masters Championship in Greece, where Ireland were crowned World Champions. We are incredibly proud of Nuala and were delighted to celebrate her fantastic success with the children. 🏆🇮🇪

To round off a brilliant camp, everyone enjoyed a well earned ice cream, the perfect way to celebrate a fantastic few days together! 🍦

Day 2 of our Kids’ Camp saw the children taking part in a variety of fun activities, including yoga, rounders, relays, and gaelic football. It was another fantastic evening, with plenty of smiles, laughter and energy on display.

A huge thank you again to all of our wonderful volunteers for their time, energy and enthusiasm in helping everything run so smoothly.
