Today we headed to the Kingdom of Kerry for the Kenmare Rowing and Boating Club Regatta

We had a very successfull day on the water with many great results especially from our underage rowers. As always, a big thank you to our coaches, coxes, boat handlers, parents, rowers, supporters and sponsors and to Kenmare for a great day.

A special mention to Jeff & Anna, our club Power Couple, who medaled in the CMix2x, well done folks.

The Wicklow Warrior has been spotted by An RAF pilot & the Holyhead Coastguard, on a beach south of Holyhead, we are awaiting further updates from the Coastguard & will update as soon as we can. We would like to thank everyone for their prayers & good wishes for her return

Mayo for Sam, but Ross for the medals!

Today we made the long journey to Co. Mayo to participate in the Tullaghan Bay RC Endurance Regatta

We had a very successful outing with Niamh & Nicky victorious in the j16x2 and Nicky claiming silver in the j16x1

Another busy weekend for the club.

Yesterday evening we held our end of season meet up at the The Lagoon Activity Centre .

We had a great evening and a bigvthank you to Paul and his team, who served up a feast of food.

Today we headed to Durrus for the 19th annual Sheepshead Cycle. Remarkably, in what was driest Summer in recent memory, this was our third attempt to hold the event. Today, the weather Gods were smiling and our route from Durrus to the light house was resplendent in the sunshine. Our thanks to Sean O'Mahony, who has been the organiser of the cycle since its inception.

Rosscarbery Rowing Club are delighted to announce that Jack Hehir and Gabrielle O'Donoghue will both have the honour of representing Ireland in beach sprint competitions over the next few weeks.

Jack will compete in the Homes Internationals in Scotland, while Gabrielle will row in the Coupe de la Juennese in Portugal.

All at RRC are immensely proud of both Jack and Gabrielle and we wish you the very best in your respective competitions.
