A nice warm up before our Timber Yawl regatta on Sunday evening.

Our neighbours at Galleyflash Rowing Club must have had the Child of Prague working overtime as Kilkern was bathed in sunshine today for their annual Traditional Wooden Boat Regatta.

With a bumper crowd and a large field, we were treated to a feast of excellent Rowing with only a canvas separating some crews.

Congratulations to all of our crews who rowed today and thanks as always to our coxes, coaches, rowers and supporters.

Due to a poor forecast, we have taken the decision to postpone tomorrow's Sheepshead cycle.

We hope to run it on the August weekend instead.

We are looking forward to welcoming rowers and spectators from across West Cork to Kilkern Lake tomorrow for our annual regatta. The first of ten races will be under starter's orders at 2pm.

We will have tea, coffee, buns and cakes available for purchase in the boathouse. Please note this is **cash only**.

We are hoping that the sun will shine and that we will see lots of you there!
