Chuir Na Ceiltigh fáilte roimh fhoireann mhaith Ballyraine go dtí an Phobalscoil sa chluiche leathcheannais ar na mallaibh.

Thosaigh Ballyraine go maith agus scóráil siad go luath agus fuair siad an chéad chúl: 1-0. Throid Na Ceiltigh go maith in éadan gaoth láidir agus bhí siad ag cruthú deiseanna scórála. Tar éis obair mhaith ó Joey Coll, chuir sé Charlie tríd agus chuir sé an liathróid trasna chuig James ‘Bomber’ a chríochnaigh go deas. Bhí an cluiche cothrom go leor ach ba iad Ballyraine a chuaigh chun tosaigh arís le cúl iontach. 2-1 Ballyraine ag leathama

Don dara seachtain as a chéile, chuaigh muid chuig cicanna pionóis agus ba é Lorcan Coyle arís a rinne dhá shábháil sa shootout chun Na Ceiltigh a chur tríd chuig an cluiche ceannais.

Imreoidh Na Ceiltigh in éadán Donegal Town sa chluiche ceannais agus imreofar é i ndiaidh scrúduithe na hArdteiste.

Na Ceiltigh recently welcomed a good Ballyraine team to the Pobalscoil in the cup semi final.

Ballyraine got off to a good start scoring early to make it 1-0. Na Ceiltigh fought well against a strong wind and were creating chances. Good work from Joey Coll sent Charlie through whose cross was met by James ‘bomber’ who finished neatly. The game was even but it was Ballyraine who got ahead again through a fine finish.

Na Ceiltigh had work to do and work tirelessly to find an equaliser. It was Adam McBride who crossed a lovely ball into the box and it was Patrick Pearse O’Donnell who finished well to equalise with minutes remaining.

For the 2nd week in a row, we headed to penalties and it was once again Lorcan Coyle who saved twice in the shootout to send Na Ceiltigh through to the cup final.

Na Ceiltigh will play Donegal Town in the final and it will be played after the Leaving Cert exams.

Comhghairdeachas le Mairtín Óg Ó Colla agus Aaron Mac Giolla Bhríde ar a mbua mór inniu i Luimineach. Bhain Foireann 2012 DUL an babhla ag Corn Uí Chinnéide. Éacht ar dóigh.

Congratulations to Mairtín Óg Ó Colla and Aaron McBride on their big win in Limerick today. The boys were a part of a very successful 2012 DUL squad that added the Kennedy Cup Bowl to the All-Ireland Inter-League title they won earlier this year. Congratulations to all.

🏆 SECOND TIER SEMI-FINAL VICTORY FOR DONEGAL UNDERAGE LEAGUE! 🟢🟡

Donegal Underage League booked their place in tomorrow’s Second Tier Final with an impressive 3-1 victory over Wexford in an entertaining semi-final clash.

Wexford got the game underway, but Donegal goalkeeper Harry McBride was alert from the outset, gathering comfortably before launching an attack. Wexford cleared their lines, only for the ball to fall to Oliver Maguire, who delivered a superb curling cross to the back post where Tiarnan Caterson slid in to finish brilliantly after just 40 seconds.

Donegal continued to dominate for long periods, creating numerous chances, but the Wexford goalkeeper produced a series of excellent saves to keep the deficit at one goal.

One of those saves led to a Donegal corner, and a clever set-piece routine between Peadar Finnegan and Levi Kelly doubled the lead. Kelly’s inswinging effort flew all the way into the top corner to make it 2-0.

Wexford started the second half brightly and pulled a goal back within a minute of the restart to make it 2-1. However, Donegal responded well and restored their two-goal cushion when Aaron McBride won a free-kick in a dangerous area. Darragh O’Sullivan delivered a pinpoint ball into the box and Zac O’Carroll rose at the far post to head home and make it 3-1.

A tremendous team performance from Donegal sees them safely through to tomorrow’s final. Congratulations to all the players and management!

🏆 DONEGAL UNDERAGE LEAGUE REACH KENNEDY CUP SECOND TIER SEMI-FINAL 🏆

The Donegal Underage League have secured their place in the Semi-Finals of the Second Tier of the 2026 SFAI Kennedy Cup following a series of impressive performances throughout the tournament.

The DUL side will face Wexford & District Schoolboys League in the semi-final on Thursday, 11th June at 2:00pm on Pitch 7, University of Limerick.

This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment shown by the players and coaching staff throughout the competition. The team now stand just one step away from a place in the Final.

We wish the squad and management the very best of luck as they continue their Kennedy Cup journey and proudly represent Donegal on the national stage.

Beidh Corn Uí Chinnéide ar siúl i Luimneach an tseachtain seo agus tá beirt ón gclub, Aaron Mac Giolla Bhríde agus Mairtín Óg Ó Colla mar pháirt de fhoireann DUL.

Tá na gasúraí ag freastal ar sheisiúin DUL i rith na bliana agus tá siad ag imirt go hiontach dár bhfoireann faoi 14 faoi láthair.

Imreoidh na leaids in éadan an chuid is fearr de pheileadóirí faoi 14 na tíre i rith na seachtaine. Tá seachtain mór peile rompu.

The prestigious Kennedy Cup takes place in Limerick this week and four members of our U14 Academy side, Aaron Mac Giolla Bhríde agus Mairtín Óg Ó Colla, are included on the Donegal Underage League squad.

The boys have been attending DUL sessions all year and have been in fantastic form for our own U14s so far this season. This week will see the boys come up against the very best of the country’s schoolboy footballers. A great week of football lies in store for them.

We wish the boys and the Donegal Underage League squad the very best of luck this week and hope that they enjoy every minute of the experience.
