Natural Worlds 2024 π
Each one of these athletes could easily be deserving of an individual post(which I might do yet) for there effort during the weekend and the build up to it, however, it's been nearly a month since Worlds, at this point if I don't do one post for everyone, iβll probably end up doing none for anyone π
- Didn't put a foot wrong all weekend and came away with 2nd place, what most don't know about Gail (because sheβs not one to complain or make excuses) is that she was very unlucky to get a knee injury that kept her out of any kind of lower body training forΒ 3 weeks just when prep for worlds began, to get herself back into competition shape alone was a fantastic achievement, nevermind getting 2nd place on top of that π₯
- After dropping a lot of points on event 1, Ger did brilliant in keeping his head up and fighting right to the end, even getting himself into 1st place overall after 6 events but narrowly missing out on the win at the end. 2nd Natural Strongest Man in the Worlds and no doubt he'll be taking first place in 2025 πͺ
egan_0206 - Placed 5th in a stacked U64KG category, had a really rough year with injuries in 2023 which kept her out of all big comps for the year and at world's we finally seen Mary back in top form and I've no doubt that she'll be pushing for a spot on the podium next year π
ginty - 4th place in the U80KG category. This man has come on leaps and bounds in the last year, a completely different athlete to john of a year or two ago. In my eyes he's easily the most improved strongman in Ireland 2024, if you disagree you're just wrong π
- 11th in the U80KG category. Our first prep working together, straight into the biggest stage Sean could be on! Very much looking forward to using our next few blocks to work on building a massive foundation with Sean bringing a bigger and stronger athlete into the 2025 season ποΈ
