Hello all,

After a few weeks break from Sunday sessions due a storm filled February we are glad to say that we will be back tomorrow in Rusheen Bay. While it will still be fairly windy tomorrow after Storm Jorge, the session will be suitable for beginners and advanced windsurfers alike. Should be a good blast!
Same rules apply, 1-3pm and its €10 for the 2 hours. All you need to bring is a towel and swimgear. If you want to sign up just reply to this email or message the page

We will be having another club meeting this Monday at 7:30 in AC214 to give you some updates on the Gran Canaria trip and the upcoming Intervarsities in Castlegregory.

1. We will be taking deposits for Gran Canaria on Monday of €105. This is due in 2 weeks time so for those who have signed up, be sure to come along to lock your spot down

2. We will also be taking sign ups for those who want to compete (or just want to come along for the craic) at this years Intervarsities on the 20-22nd of March. It will be approximately €60-70 for the whole weekend and there will be more info at the meeting on Monday

Hello hello,

And welcome back! The windsurfing Club is back for the new year and our first session of the semester is this Sunday in Rusheen Bay at 1-3pm. For all those who haven't been down before its €10 for the 2 hours and that includes gear, instruction and wetsuit. All you need to bring is swimgear and a towel.

If you want to sign up simply reply to this email or message the page with your student ID number.
Following on from that, our first club meeting of the year will be on Monday at 7:30pm in AC214 (just right at bank of Ireland and then the first left) where we will be explaining all our plans for the semester. Here is a sneak peak though

Hello all,

First of all, as the semester draws to a close we'd just like to thank all of ye who came along to the Sunday sessions, the weekend trip down to Kerry and all the meetings and get togethers throughout the semester. You da best!🌊🌫

Weekly sessions have finished up for now and will start up again in january for semester 2 but in the meantime we have some very exciting news!

Yes, we're planning an international trip to Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands after exams finish in semester 2. Wahoo, what a time to be alive!😯

So, tomorrow we will be having an information evening at 7:30pm in ac214 where you will find out all you'll need to know about the trip and put down a deposit if you like. But here are all the basic details...

When: 16th-22nd May
Where: Pozo, Gran Canaria
How much: only €200 for the weeks accommodation and daily windsurf lesson/rental
But: the price excludes the cost of flights which are at approximately €190 at the moment.
Why: Will be great craic of course!

The deposit for the trip is €100 and this will be needed to secure your spot. We will be taking this at the meeting for all those interested.
If that has tickled your interest be sure to come along tomorrow evening where we will be heading to the college bar for end of semester drinks after.

Hello all,
Our weekly meeting is on again tonight in the usual spot of ac214 at 7:30pm. That's right at bank of ireland and the left through the yellow doors.

This week we'll be taking sign ups for our 2 sessions
Midweek: Wednesday 5-7pm
Weekend: Sunday 1-3pm
note: this week will be the last week of midweek sessions due to the light going so

Also we'll be telling you all you need to know about our upcoming weekend trip to Castlegregory wohoo!That will be from the 8th-10th of November and is not to be missed. Sign ups for that will be taken tonight too.

Hello all,

The windsurf meeting is on again tonight as usual in ac214 at 7:30pm. That's right at bank of Ireland then through the yellow doors and its one of the classrooms on the left.

This week we will have 2 sessions. One this Thursday (5-7pm) and one on Sunday (1-3pm). You can sign up for both sessions at the meeting this evening.

Hello all,

Just a quick reminder to those who signed up that the next windsurfing session is on tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5-7pm.

There are a limited number of places left for the session so if you still want to come then either email us or message the page and include your student id.
Its only €10 for the 2hours and everything is included so all you need to bring is swim gear and a towel.

Alright guys, we'll be doing another meeting this Tuesday to take sign ups for the weekend 👍 If you're interested in the sessions do try and turn up, so we can fill you in on what you need to bring and on what we actually do in them 👍 Hopefully we'll see more of ye this week, I know a few people weren't around for last weeks one. Hey dudes and dudettes, so there will be a meeting on next week, Tuesday at 6pm in the normal spot in the concourse. We have got the weekend sessions running again so if you're interested come along and we'll add your name to the list and give you all the details and stuff 👍 There's a few other things coming up as well, like UL coming to Galway on one of the upcoming weekends, we'll tell you all about all of it in the meeting 👍 So yeah I think that's it, thanks dudes and see ye soon 🤙
