11 athletes, 29 matches of 2 games or 10minutes - we had a great day at Caherlistrane Handball Club hosting the county U13 boys blitz for CLG Liathróid Láimhe na Gaillimhe. Fantastic handball from all the athletes - came ready to play and all delivered the goods inside the alley!! Thanks for coming all the way over - we loved having ye!!! Thanks to our sponsors Keane's Service Station!!

Galway Wall Ball Tournament Coming Soon
With the Wall Ball season beginning in earnest, we are planning on hosting a tournament for players of all abilities. Whether you are looking to prepare for the Nationals or simply get back in the swing of things, we can cater to your needs.

We have had a great season, both in competition and in growing the club.

During covid restrictions, we were unable to meet indoors so all activity had ceased, however they got back with a bang in full blown competition finishing out the juvenile 2020 League. The community tuned in to the club’s page online to watch an evenly matched and fierce showdown of head to head titillating matches. In the end Noah Langan won the u10 Final receiving his accolades from Brian Keane of Keane’s Service Station in Caherlistrane, and Kevin Geraghty won the Pat Geraghty Memorial Cup. A bittersweet and poetic ending to the night that Pat’s own grandson should emerge on top after a fiercely competitive tournament. The cup was kindly presented by Teresa Geraghty.

That night of competition was a magnificent kickstart to a wonderful season where many more battles were fought out behind the glass and the club welcomed more and more members joining. Thank you to all members.

Of course nothing happens without great sponsors and great coaches behind the scenes. Massive thanks to Brian & Amy of Keane’s Service Station, main sponsor and to coaches Paul Flynn and Bernard Geraghty for all they do.
