Remember the good old days of Pokémon Blue, Red, Green, Yellow and all of the games that followed, when you could purchase a bike? It was as easy as pressing the 'select' button on your Gameboy Colour and instantly being able to go anywhere at twice the speed of walking?

Did you know there are countless Pokéstops and at least four Pokémon gyms within walking distance from our shop at the Galway Aquarium, Salthill? Imagine how many you could reach on a bike when playing PokémonGO.

PokémonGO rules dictate that your eggs won't hatch while driving a car; and you certainly won't be able to catch 'em all whilst travelling at 50km per hour. But these same rules say that eggs WILL hatch if you're on a bike. And it's very simple to hop off at every Pokéstop and gym to train or catch Pokémon to your heart's content.

We're renting our bikes for €10 for up to four hours, or €15 for a whole day, so why not pop in and get your key item for catching Pokémon? (fyi, we're also a Pokéstop and regularly place lure modules here to attract Pokémon).

If you don't come back a strong, formidable Pokémon trainer with Pokémon defending various gyms around Galway, then you're not doing it right!
