🚣♀️ Empowering Women Through Rowing: Insights from Our Final Workshop
Today marks a milestone for the Oarsome Women project! Our online final workshop is bringing together rowing enthusiasts, community leaders, and advocates for women's inclusion in sport.
We're honored to host Guin Batten, World Rowing Council member, who will share her vision on why rowing matters for mature women – and why representation in our sport is so crucial.
Why does this matter?
Rowing is transformative. It builds strength, mental resilience, and creates bonds of genuine friendship. Yet women remain underrepresented in rowing communities across Europe. Through our Erasmus+ Sport initiative, we're changing that narrative – one boat, one community, one woman at a time.
Guin's journey from athlete to leader embodies what we believe: that rowing can unlock potential in every woman who picks up an oar. Today, she'll share her story, insights, and vision for a more inclusive future in rowing.
Join us TODAY at 20:00 CET for an inspiring conversation about the physical, mental, and social benefits of rowing for mature women.
Because rowing isn't just about crossing a finish line – it's about empowering women to discover what they're capable of. 💪
