🏆 A very memorable day today for Emily Connaughton who came out on top of the U13 Plate competition today in Kilglass Gaels for the Battle by the Shannon.

⭐️ Emily was a much deserving winner today having faced tough competition along the way to claiming the trophy.

💪 Commanding her games with strong serving and calculating her returns proved to be the winning combination all while keeping her composure along the way.

👏 Well done to all our juveniles who took part today, we come home having gained invaluable competition experience in the one wall that we will take with us to the next challenge.

🤝 Many thanks to Kilglass for a fantastically ran competition.

Championship and each player who took to the court gave a fantastic account of themselves. The big alley didn’t disappoint! We are so proud of you all and to see your improvements week on week✨

🥈 More great news to report from the 13&U Doubles 60x30 Nationals Championship where Grace Connaughton and Caitlin Smyth finish runners up to a very strong Kilkenny GAA Handball team 👏

This is the first time these girls have played competitively in the 60x30 so this result is something they can be very proud of.

Also competing today from our club was Emily Connaughton and Sarah Hoban Cumann Liathróid Láimhe Micheál Breathnach. Both girls played brilliantly and reached the semi finals of today’s competition 👏.

Cian Smyth and Mason Feeney were in St.Comans Handball Club Roscommon where they met strong competition from various clubs nationwide in their first competitive 60x30 games but come home having gained valuable experience.

🥇 Congratulations also to Tyrone GAA Handball their win in the Boys 17 & U Doubles over Abbeylara Handball Club.

🤝 The club was delighted to welcome GAA Handball President Kevin Cooke to make today’s presentations 🏆
