Calling athletes from all sporting disciplines, age 16 years and older across Galway city and county, the award aims to develop and support sporting talent of the future with an impressive one year prize package covering specialist medical and physiotherapy treatment, personalised training plans, consultations and gym membership. This year’s supporting partners include; Keith Gildea, Manager at Ocean Fitness, Darcy Noel of Baily Point Physiotherapy, Aisling Snedker, Clinical and Sports Dietician, Sarah Thornton of Sarah Thornton Personal Training, Dr. Aideen Henry, Sports Medicine Physician at the Galway Clinic and Kieran Shannon, Sports Psychologist.
