We turned up in numbers for Castlehackett 8k June 7th 2026. This was a great event with a nice route and a fine offering of sandwiches and homemade treats afterwards.
Patrick Fleming was 3rd overall and Stasys Mikuckis was 5th overall. Congratulations also to Murt Fallon and Andrea Ridge, who both won their age categories. Well done to all our runners who took part today, more than 20 of us. Some of us are pictured here before the start.

National Gold for Tuam AC men's team O50s in Cork.

A brilliant day in Cork today for Tuam AC as the men's O50s team claimed National half marathon gold ahead of Grange Fermoy AC and Inishowen AC.

Ger Hartnett: National bronze,
Sean Burke: 5th place,
Gearoid Healy: 6th place with a PB.

A fantastic team performance - congratulations all.
